Remember those billboards with a gold, nondescript logo that were popping up across the Las Vegas Valley this month?

The mystery has finally been revealed.

That logo has been transformed into something that Vegas Golden Knights fans will immediately recognize. The new logo celebrates the 10th-anniversary season of the Golden Knights. It features the Knights’ signature helmet centered on a red “X,” the Roman numeral for 10. Slicing through the helmet and X is a sword, which looks similar to the sword on the Knights’ secondary logo. Centered across the X, flanking the helmet, are the numbers “17” and “27.” The Knights’ inaugural season began in 2017.

The billboards had featured a plain, oddly shaped logo with the date “07.16.26” below it. But there were no clues about who was behind the cryptic campaign. While speculation on social media suggested the Knights were behind the billboards, the team had neither confirmed nor denied its involvement.

The 10th-anniversary logo appears in a full-page advertisement on page 3C of today’s Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper.

The ad features the words “History continues. 2026-27 schedule & ticket memberships available at vegasgoldenknights.com.”
